Abstract

Background: Alkaloid, any of a class of naturally occurring organic nitrogen-containing bases. Alkaloids have diverse and important physiological effects on humans and other animals.

Objectives: In the present study we have studied the effect of ethanolic extract of mushroom on the blood biochemistry parameters in through 21 days of treatment.

Methods: The study was conducted in biotechnology laboratories and animal house of the Department of biology in Faculty of Science / University of Kufa to evaluate the biological activity of ethanol alcohol alkaloids extracts fruits of Mushroom Agaricusbisporus (J.) as assistant of coagulant Agent using (60) healthy adult male Albino rats (6–8 month). This study was daily orally administration of different concentrations of mushroom alkaloids extract on Blood coagulant biochemistry during 21days were divided randomly into (4) groups of (15) male animals for each concentration of alkaloid extract as Group1: control group. Group 2: given (0.001) mg/kg EME, Group 3: given (0.04) mg/kg EME, Group 4: given (0.4) mg/kg EME.

Results: The active compounds were studied using ethanol alcohol in extraction methods. Alkaloid were separated and identificated by Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) technique using glass silica gel sheets for EME. At the end of the experiment bleeding % clotting time, RBC, WBC, Platelets, Prothrompin time (PT), partial thermoplastin (PTT) leveland Ca+2 were measured.

Conclusions: The fruiting body of A. bisporus vary in their constituent of phytochemicals including: phenols, alkaloids, flavonoids, glycoside and tannins. In treatment of ethanolic mushroom extract is effect on bleeding time and clotting time with the increased of concentration. Alkaloid compound has decreased the bleeding time and clotting time, but effect and increased on all contains of blood.
